The job

A 4″ house line into a 6″ sewer.

Where a 4″ building sewer, the house line, ties into a 6″ sewer lateral or stub, the smaller pipe leaves a gap inside the larger one. The BR-64 O-ring fills it: a rolling-style rubber ring on the 4″ pipe that seals against the inside of the 6″ pipe.

How it fits

On the 4″. Inside the 6″.

The O-ring goes on the outside of the 4″ house line, which then goes into the 6″ sewer pipe. The ring fills the space between the two.
