Installation Overview
Build the right foundation for reliable drainage.
Proper preparation, placement and backfill help support the channel and maintain the intended grade.

Prepare the Trench
Excavate enough space for a two-inch compacted sand base and the required concrete support along both sides of the channel.

Set the Grade
Establish the finished channel height with a string line, then spread and compact the sand base.

Prepare the Outlet
Determine the outlet location and open the appropriate bottom outlet before setting the channel in place.

Connect the System
Join channel lengths and install the End Cap, End Outlet or Quad accessory required for the layout.

Position and Secure
Work from the outlet end, follow the string line and secure the channel before placing the surrounding material.

Backfill and Cure
Protect the grates during the pour, place the required concrete support and allow the concrete to cure fully before use.
Important: Installation requirements vary by surface type and traffic conditions. Review the complete installation instructions before beginning the project. Do not place asphalt directly against the channel.
