Fernco Hose Grip Clothes Washer Connector
Hose Grip Washer Connector
Keeps the washer drain hose in the standpipe, so it can’t work its way out and spill water on the floor.
Keep the hose in the pipe
A washer pumps out a lot of water fast. That push can move a loose drain hose until it pops out of the standpipe. The Hose Grip clamps onto the top of the standpipe and holds the hose where it belongs.
Air still moves. Four vents around the center let air flow while the washer drains, and the hose stays put.

One part fits either standpipe.
No glue, primer or caulk. Tighten the clamp with a screwdriver or nut driver.
Replaces zip ties and duct tape on the standpipe.

Common questions
Will it fit my washer hose?
It fits most washer drain hoses from 1″ to 1-7/16″ across the outside. Not sure? Reach out.
Does it seal the hose into the standpipe?
No. It holds the hose in place, and four vents around the center let air move while the washer drains.
How far should the hose go in?
Follow your washer’s installation instructions. Washer makers set a limit on how far the hose goes into the standpipe.
Will it stop a standpipe from overflowing?
No. If water backs up out of the standpipe, the drain is slow or clogged. Clear the drain first.
Is there room behind my washer?
The Hose Grip adds a little to the outside of the standpipe, and the clamp screw sticks out to one side. Turn the screw away from the washer before you tighten it.
